    Dear Miss Bronold:


    Have just received your letter after
    a trip I had to make to London


    The Finanzamt St Pölten demands
    S 149,981 as Income Tax for 1969.
    I think this absurdly high, but have said
    I would pay it in three installments
    over three years. If anything can be-
    done, of course I would be pleased.


    Could you ask Dr Kraus to get in touch
    with me, since there are one or two problems
    I wish to discuss with him.
